Hunting for gemstones

Each child receives a medium size ($8.00) collector's bag and the party goes into the Scratch Patch where they spend between 15 and 30 minutes collecting semi-precious gemstones, tropical shells, and panning for pyrite in the pools. Whatever fits in their bag, they keep.

Being creative

The party then moves indoors to the work tables, where each child is given a treasure box to decorate with the gems and shells they have collected. They also get a small bag of rock candies (gourmet jellybeans that look like real rocks!).

Learn more about the history, mythology and spiritual attributes of each stone. There's room for you and up to seven of your friends in our private setting with beautiful ocean views.

Refreshments can be arranged for adult parties.

Basic price ($59) includes:

• One small pendant
• Choice of beads from up to three different strands priced at $15 or less.
• Hook and ring clasp
• Beading wire, crimp beads, and crimp bead covers
• Use of jewellery making tools
• Instruction

Choose a larger pendant, premium beads, sterling silver accents, or fancy clasps for small additional charges.
